Lorac is a company I love for eyeshadows but I had never really tried their foundation because I thought it was all sheer coverage. Well when researching sometime last summer I found out that their Porefection line ranges from sheer to full coverage, which made me want to try it out. Here I am over a year later having finished a second bottle of it and still loving it!
Lorac Porefection from Ulta
The blurb on the website for this foundation says the following…
“Perfect and protect with POREfection Foundation. This oil, paraben and fragrance free formula is infused with anti-aging antioxidants of vitamins A & E, olive leaf extract, lemon fruit extract and papaya fruit extract to help soothe, nourish and rejuvenate while SPF 20 provides protection from UVA/UVB rays to help keep skin healthy, youthful and radiant. Get a poreless-looking, silky-smooth finish and achieve complexion POREfection with LORAC.
POREfection Foundation provides medium to full coverage and is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.”
As I have stated before my main problem with full coverage and pore concealing foundations is that they are drying and ruin my skin. This one does the opposite! With the antioxidants and vitamins within it the foundation really helps keep my skin moisturized and clear of blemishes.
Now let’s get to the largest promise of this foundation, pore concealment. I do not have huge pored but when I wear makeup the ones around my nose look larger. This foundation when set completely concealed them! I was in awe the first time I used this. The pore coverage this foundation promises it also delivers unlike some other foundations.
One thing they don’t highlight is the finish of this foundation…is it dewy, natural, matte? Well for me, even with my dry skin it came out to be natural; not to dewy, not to matte. Which I love because I think it makes me look healthier and gives me a much needed glow.
I would highly reccommend this to anyone wanting to try out a new, wonderful foundation. Tell me your thoughts…
